- Brooklyn Philharmonic Artist in the Schools : PS 81Q 4th grade World Percussion classes (12 weeks)
- Arts for Kids at PS 811x : percussion and instrument building for special education high school
- Parents and Children After School : Staten Island, instrument building & playing techniques
- Katskill Kids Make Music : summer music program in Delaware County, NY - building homemade instruments, learning basic musical practices and techniques, and performance. NYState Music Fund grant with Roxbury Arts Group.
2005

- Creative Music Educators of Manhattan New Music Project, District 75 (Special Ed), all boroughs:
teaching artist/mentor and curriculum development.
- Children's Aid Society at PS 8 NYC: music technique, instrument building, songwriting, performance for 3-4th grade, full year residency
-PS 21 Staten Island - instrument building, songwriting, general musicianship, CD recording and performance; full year residency
- Avampato Science and Art Museum at the Clay Center, Charleston West Virginia: Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation sponsored residency with Ken Butler and Lisa Karrer at community center to teach instrument building, musical techniques, co-produce a video document of the process, create large performance; 2 week residency
